How to book
Please use the Enquiries form, accessed from the main menu, to request a reservation. We will confirm whether or not the house is free for you to book and will provide the detailed Terms and Conditions governing your booking, including the reservation and security deposits and the conditions governing how these work and the extent to which you will be refunded in the unfortunate event you need to cancel your booking.
We have been operating Harbour View as a holiday home for several years and make minor changes to our rates each year following a review of similar properties in the area and our occupancy levels for the prior season. We have quite a few regular guests who return each year so we like to make sure the rates stay broadly in line with what they expect to see.
Please note that we only accept 7 day bookings, from Saturday to Saturday, in order to keep things simple for us and our cleaning team. The only exceptions to this relate to the May Day week and Christmas and New Year if those key dates fall over a weekend. In those cases the weekly booking is from mid-week to mid-week as set out in the rates table below.
We are also unable to reduce our rates for low occupancy bookings having had poor experience of this in the past with people who claimed to be a party of 2 but for some reason used all the beds and towels.
A Reservation Deposit of £200 per week (ie £400 for a two week stay), is required to be paid at the time of booking in order to secure your reservation. We will provide you with the details of the bank account into which to pay the deposit. The balance of the amount due for your booking, plus a Security Deposit of £250 is due 8 weeks prior to the Start Date of your holiday. We will be in touch with you to remind you of these timings and the amounts owed.
After booking Harbour View, you will receive an email confirmation of your Holiday booking.
Two weeks before your holiday, we will email you information you'll need to find Harbour View, access key code and how to book car parking should that be of interest.
Rental rates are for the entire property.
